Hey! I'm lucky in that I'm traveling to Vail, Colorado for a ski week this comiing Friday. Salina, Kansas happens to be our customary stop. Does anybody know of any good karaoke shows in the vicinity? I have some backups of custom karaoke discs that I have bought. Hopefully that will not be a problem... No, I'm not at all joking. --Tad |

one of our members here is from Salinas... Gemini (do a wildcard search on his name for the real ID... I don't have it memorized) A simple yahoosearch showed another company. http://www.discjockeys.com/emporia-karaoke.html Unsure WHO puts on a good show. For instance, I've been banned for disagreeing publicly with Mr. Sears (Gemini Karaoke), and I've never set foot ONE into any of his venues. I know Bob Sears has mentioned he has competitors. Be warned... Gemini Karaoke has a list of rules on their website... chief among those is they won't play outside discs. |

Its good to hear some people from this forum are coming though Salina.... there a 2 other shows in Salina on both who use only computers and dont use any discs. I myself use discs..but knightshow is right about the rules I dont allow people to use their disc at my show...sorry.. but you are more then welcome to come out and sing. If you are interested in find out about shows in salina..please feel free to contact me and i will get you the information. |

Most bars are busy around here on Fri night & Sat..so bar owners seem not to want to bring in karaoke on those nights...believe me I have work on it but hopefully I can get something going on the weekendss..oh well we will see |
