Post subject: | Mixing solutions concerning Bose Model II Speaker system |
I would like to start off by listing my equipment and then the problem. 1 Bose Model II speaker system Mackie dfx 12 mixer Shure 87 A Shure 58 Beta and a variety of mics from the same quality range The mixer already has mic pre amps and effects, but i am only able to make very small effect changes and i mean very small. There are few regulars that i have at my show that cant really sing. Even some really good singers whom have sang great on my former setup with Mackie speakers sound unclean. At the same time i have professional singers at some of my shows and they sound better than ever. This has caused me to suspect that the Bose picks projects exact vocal representation and cant be mixed. I was wondering if there was a way to add harmonizing effects for under a 1000 dollars, or a more simple solution. Even in its current state this is the best piece of audio equipment that i have ever purchased, so buying something else would be out of the question. I was wondering if anyone who had these speakers had any luck. Thanks in advance, Levi |
