Just got back from Las Vegas, and after hearing all the gloom and doom, I checked the local paper for active Karaoke gigs..

The good news, there are 124 paid for ads in one paper..

Almost as many in the other..

The only one for sure that canceled is the live band karaoke at the House of Blues..

So I guess it's not a bad as I was led to believe..

I don't think one can compare anything in Vegas in regards to the economy. That is a whole different animal, transient clientele, non-regular clientele...
