Karaoke Forums

Hey you guys have been great at helping me so i need your help again.
I am trying to get the karaoke text to my monitor. When I open VDJ the whole thing comes up.....such as the record players instead of just the text.
Can anyone tell me what settings I need to do to fix this?

As to VDJ, I assume you are referring to Virtual DeeJay?

As far as I know, it should appear on the monitor simply by selecting the karaoke format just as a Video shows up on the monitor when you're in the video mode?

I'm not sure where the karaoke mode is. It shows the whole thing instead of just the karaoke screen. Where should i go to look for this mode?
It is actually my husbands show but he is computer illiterate so it is up to me to figure it out.

How is your 2nd monitor hooked up to the computer & is your computer set up for extended desktop ?

There are 4 tabs for music selection: 1st audio, 2nd Karaoke, Video and All. To get karaoke to work you have to have the "karaoke" tab or "all" tab clicked. Make sure you goto setup and click on the video check box, it should give you two choices, one for windows and/or whatever "type" of video card you are using. You can always goto their site and download a manual.

which version of Virtual DJ do you have? If it's 5.2+, you need to be in Full Video mode (3rd selection/tab) or go to CONFIG on the top right of your VDJ screen, select the SKIN tab, and look for the Video (or something related to that) and click OK.
