I know awhile back there was a rule that you had to post something at least once a month or you would lose your priveledges or something - is that rule still in effect?

Hi Joe, the mandatory post thing was enacted to help weed out some of the spammers that constantly inundate the site. It shouldn't affect your SS account at all

Im a newbie here. What is this Singer SHowcase all about?

Actually I believe it would have affected your acct if you hadnt posted Joe. Some months ago I helped out (cos I had the time recouperating from the first operation) by going thru an excel sheet of a couple of thousand names and letting admin know what were current in SS and what werent. Those that werent I guess got the opportunity to update and validate their acct by posting in ks before being deleted.

Singers showcase is a place we can submit songs to be listened to Most of the folk that sub songs are pleasant and positive. You can sub for free to a max of 3mb per song. The free acct will only let you sub 1 song per day to a max of 5, once the first one has been there 5 days you may delete it and replace with another.
You may prefer to pay a subscription. The first paid offers you the opportunity to sub 2 songs per day to a max of 10 songs in total and the size is to a max of 4mb per song. There is another couple of subscription levels as well giving you progressivly larger bitrate and more storage space.
To access singers showcase (SS) look to the left of your screen and you will see singers showcase listed there. click on it and you can go listen and get the feel of it

Really, you must have kept me from being deleted then? I've never posted in the forum before. What a nice feeling to be "validated" and not deleted.

Hi everyone! Hey, what happened to the "Showcase Link" that used to be in our profiles? Why'd they get rid of that?

It (among other things) disappeared when they decided to implement a new script with a new program to, *ahem*, "improve" things. Unfortunately it's gone steadily downhill since

I hadn't been here or on the "other side" in months... however when I got the email about bouncing emails.. I came over.... however I also told it to send me the activation link when I got here.

So that must have put me back in the running. Or something.

At any rate they didn't delete me, I just had to reactivate. Of course, that would be because my email didn't bounce, so I was able to come here and reactivate.
