Hello,

I am Barry. I live in Australia.

I have always enjoyed going to the social clubs on Fridays and listening to Karaoke. I would comment to my wife after an extremely bad singer that I could do better

Then one Friday the KJ was working the room; playing "Pretty Woman" and taking the microphone trying to get people to sing a verse or two. I just gave it my all and I sang the rest of the song! The KJ said "the man can sing!".

Since then I go every week, but nerves usually make it hard; I don't want to use alcohol to make it easier; I don't like pissed singers

I use Kar files at home with friends. I have Sweet Georgia Brown CDGs but the lyrics stuff up often.

One thing about Karaoke is going into a club and having perfect strangers asking me to sing a song
