| Post subject: | Venue Requirements |
Everytime a water drinker thread or similar starts I am thankful I have those problems. Before even considering a place it must have these requirements. It must seat 100 or more and have a good base regular crowd of non singers It must serve food at least burger and fries, wings, nochos and salads at least untill 9P. It must have an owner who has the same goals and we can strategize weekly and a staff that I can work with and have good working relations. They give me full rein on format but we can give each suggestions It must cater to and encourage small parties like birthdays. These are hard to find sometimes but Im too old to deal with the petty crap anymore. |

Same thoughts and EASY to find, but a tougher sell. Restaurant/ bars. Better behaved crowds, better money, and meets all of your other requirements. The only kind I do now. Restaurant bars have an additional advantage of plenty of new faces that may add to your following and help it to grow. If people live a bit away, they may help you get into nice venues in THEIR neighborhood. |
