JD, that is just out of Barstow off of Outlet Center Drive. If you don't go to glamis or mohave, you usually don't appreciate such things. Just did my last trip of the year to Glamis. We drove the sand car, and rode our quads like madmen. We will probably do a couple of day trips out to Barstow in near future, before it gets too hot. Felix the KJ |

Felix the KJ That is true, however the test was prep for the Baja 1000.. Yes, I've raced the Score 250 there in July.. Pretty rough.. It used to be the Sidewinder exit off the 15, now they call it "Outlet Mall" exit. The two roughest races I remember, The old Las Vegas Mint 400 and the Firecracker 250 there ^ @ Barstow. Not to say the Mexico races are easy, since the San Felipe 250 is a man killer too. The long races in Mexico are tough because it's so far.. My last trip to La Paz was right at 44 hours.. I was was almost in a coma for a week after that,, |
