I need one, I don't want to spend more than I need. Any suggestions? DJ I was with last week was using a furman but not sure what model.

I'm picking up a user Furman tomorrow for my setup. We use the Furman's in the recording labs and the audio director tells me that it's cheap insurance. He doesn't think it will help with the sound but will help prevent equipment failure due to bad power.

So I'm getting it for better power but I'm hopeful it'll help sound too :)

What model are you getting? Mind if I ask the price?

I use the Furman power conditioner with light module and level indicater LEDs. Very nice, and runs about $189 new.

Furman PL-Plus

I'm told best bang/buck. Looks on Ebay or craigs list. I found one on Craigs List for $100, going to pick it up today.

<edit - man I hate making typos :)>
