There is only ONE karaoke movie that I know of: Duets, with Huey Lewis, Gwyneth Paltrow. Its pretty good, telling the stories of six people, and how karaoke brings them together. The ending is a little bit of a downer, but I enjoyed the music. My lady friend and I enjoy singing the "Crusin'" version from the movie. |

Remo Williams The Adventure Begins is my all time favorite. And I like almost anything Bruce Willis or Tom Hanks is in. I think I'm a little addicted to the Tremors movies. I can't seem to change the channel when I come across one. |

Good movie, but it could have been so much more.. 1) Chuin was played by a gay white guy.. No good 2) Remo was played by an over rated "B" actor with false teeth.. No good.. Warren and Murphy had a great series going for quite a while.. I suspect they made too much money and started bickering.. The movie project was in planning for at least 20 years.. It could have been great with proper funding. |

For comedies, I really liked the Austin Powers series. For drama, Philadelphia was a good one. |

Ah, yeah, those were a hoot. Those are the kind of movies (like Dumb & Dumber) that are SO stupid.... that you can't resist watching them over and over. Also, I never miss this one during the holiday season: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. (and all the other NL ones are funny too) |
