Decisions...decisions...
Mackie SWA1801's
or
B-52's ACT-18 & ACT-18S
or
B-52's LX-18A & LX-18
Salesman tells me to go with Mackies (B-52's are less expensive) But most of the reviews I've read say the B-52's are better than the Mackie 1801's.
Any input on this, anyone?

the difference is: Mackies pull more flatter response.. the B-52's are a DJ speaker but roll over more on the low and mid low and are harder to control.. they are great Dance club speakers granted.. But the mackies are much better for karaoke/live by a long shot.. I would take them both personally based on expierence, but for must KJ's in here I'd definately go with the mackies.

Thanks for the input. I've heard both sides and they seem to even out pretty much. I went ahead and got the B-52 ACT-18 and ACT-18S last night. If I like them, I'll keep them. If not, I've already been told I can go back and swap them out for the Mackie SWA1801's. I'll post my own personal "review" on here after they arrive in ten days or so.
