I was wondering if anyone knows of a DJ rack mounted type of dual CD player that plays regualr CDs and CD+G discs AND has digital key control. I found a machine that has the dual players and a mixer built in but the specs make no mention of digital key control. It says it can change the pitch by + or - 12% via buttons, but I don't think that's the same thing. I want to be able to disc based or laptop based and have each other as a back up.

I went to a friend's show the other day that uses CDs and the sound was excellent.

Not many players on todays market i'd actually recommend for mobile use.
The Gemini I have heard the drawers often get jammed or one side or the other will stop playing altogether.

I own (2) gemini cd+g players, cdx-02g. Now, they're not the ones with the mixer built in, but other than that I think they're the same. I'm extrememly happy with them both, been using them for 100% mobile use. I did start using laptop more, but still do use the cd players, frequently. I did have a problem with the one side quit reading cds, I sent it back for service. I would bet they only cleaned the lens. I now clean them myself every few mths and have had no other issues. I love the speed of the trays and have never had one stick yet. You asked about the pitch control, I have not had a use for it, so I can't help you there. As for loading and playing cd's, it does the job, flawlessly. MrD
