I'm sure this may have been asked before but I can't seem to find anything
But can anyone help me -
My song books are seriously out of date and I want to somehow "import" the song info (Disc no-track-no - Title - Artist) from my karaoke database file INTO a file that I can then sort and print out.
I'm using sax and dotties and the database file is the usual Zipped mp3 and cdg files.
For my songbooks I've used in the past Lotus 123 (not sure if this will now work in Vista) and I've also got the OpenOffice.org speadsheet thing free from Java.
I've not got Microsoft Office (too expensive).
If no-one can help I've got a hell of a lot of typing to do !
Thanks in advance

I think you mean "export" a list from your song database.
Browse to the Sax & Dotty Hoster folder (C:\Program Files\Sax And Dotty's Show Hoster), you will see a file called "Song List" right click ond open this file using Excel (or openoffice Calc). When Excel opens, select "Karaoke Tracks" this will give you a complete listing of your current Sax & Dotty data base songs by Title/Artist/Disc/Location). Save the file to your desktop and then edit to suit your Song Book requirements.
