Unfortunately it can't be hooked up to this mixer for main outputs. There is no pre amp send/power amp return look nor any inserts on the mains.
Best you can do is choose whether to use it on the mics or music & put in between one of those sources & the mixer.

Lonman is exactly right, unfortunately. Thats one of the many consideration I thought about when I went for the MG166CX and powered speakers. I use the BBE also.

Well, you decide if you want to use the BBE on the music or the mics. Then after that decision is made, you plug either the player into the BBE & then into the channel(s) the player was plugged into. Or if you decide you want it on the mics, then you need to get an insert cable like this

Plug the single end into the "insert" channel of the mics - you only have two channels so you can only use it on 2 mics. The TIP plug will go into the INPUT on the BBE & the RING plug will go to the OUTPUT on the BBE.

As an add on to what Lonman said, you could always use TWO sonic maximizers... one for vocals and one for music, which would certainly allow you some extra tweaking opportunites! :D

I would want to hook BBE into music but didn`t fully understand the way to do it??

I have the 5014 and was given a bbe unit. The Yamaha says to use aux send 1 or 2 for exernal processor and route back into mono unused channel. Aux knobs at 1:00 for music and 9:00 on mics. Aux fader at unity, return channel at unity. This does work, I can here changes when tested, so what am I sacrificing by doing this? I will be getting a drive rack soon as I just bought QSC speakers but would still like to know
