Hi

I`m having trouble importing tracks in to show presenter without havig to rename them within the program. I convert the CDG tracks into MP3 + G tracks - end up as just track 01 02 etc. I maually rename both tracks, MP3 and CDG, To the same name e.g SF001 - 07 - Songtitle - Artist. That is disk name(Space)-(Space)Track number etc. I then creat a Zip archive with exactly the same name (SF001 - 07 - Songtitle - Artist) and zip the two files into this archive. I use Database import then get tracks to bring the files into Show presenter but the whole of the name (SF001 - 07 - Songtitle - Artist) appears in the title box and I have to manually edit the fields again before transfering them to the main database. Everything does work fine after but its a pain to keep renaming things.
Any ideas
Cheers

It is not normal to have space-space between the disk ID and track. The usual format is:

DISK0000-01 - Artist, The - Title, The.zip

Hi Thanks for the reply - let me just check I have understood the convention:
For example,
Diskname-Tracknumber(space)Hyphen(Space)Artist Comma The-Title file extension

Does that seem OK?

Cheers

As long as there are two space-hyphen-space combos.

DD0000-01(space)-(space)Artist, The(space)-(space)Title, The.zip
