Tonight we had the partial cast and crew of a new movie called "You May Now Not Kiss The Bride". Great time and big tippers! Comedian Rob Schneider (deuce bigalow) belted out a couple Elvis songs and gratiously posed for photographs. A very cool down to earth guy. Dave Annable (tvs Brothers & Sisters show) sang Sweet Caroline. He was a little quiet and shy, but was busy with his hot girlfriend all night. The many accompanying females sang alot of sexy songs and danced for the crowd all night, and the bar did great business. -tomorrow they're hoping to return with Tia Carrere (waynes world) and Mena Suyvari (american beauty). i'll post pics if they return tomorrow, but they're filming on a few of the islands. This is the first time in awhile we had "big" celebrities attend since october when David Spade (joe dirt) came by with his 2 stripper-girlfriends he rented here, ![]() |

I went to a new place (for me) in Cincy area last night. There were several performers from the theater there. One woman ought to be a name, she was ravishing and unbelievably good. It was a great time. The host and setup were fantastic. After all the crappy karaoke I have seen in the past few months, it was nice to see excellent equipment and hosting. |

I'm still impressed from when you got to have Wayne Brady at your show. |

Wow! Very cool! Located in Baltimore, and I do get some local celebs coming in now and again (local radio DJs, popular local band singers, etc.), so I can't complain. But Tia Carrere and Mena Savari? We're not worthy! We're not worthy! ![]() |

Aloha. The cast and crew of the movie didn't make it to our show tonight. I heard they did an opening for a new club downtown and it ran too late. They have a 5am call for a shoot tomorrow involving the sunrise, an "extra" mentioned. With this economy, it's really starting to slow down here on the islands, so to have a couple of movies being filmed as well as "LOST" and it's events still going on, things are still kinda fun right now. Rob Schneider was seen on the beach today signing/autographing people's flip-flops.....kinda funny and a bit weird, ![]() A few weeks back we had rock band Journey in concert, and the promoter brought the lead guitarist's wife out after the concert to our karaoke show and bar. She's not famous at all, but was an excellent singer. And although we don't see many of the celebrities AT the karaoke shows, the island is small enough and word gets out quick when someone famous is visiting. Last week Rhianna and Goldie Hawn were seen on the beaches. i will post the pics i get out of my camera of Rob Sneider and Dave Annable tomorrow. Leopard- Wayne Brady was very funny and personable, but he didn't sing at my show.... His backup singers did though and were awesome! Bill- thanks. I do feel blessed to be here and karaoke has never been more fun! I recommend this a great place to live and the weather is the best in the country! Ripman- i once did a commercial for Six Flags in Maryland with Cal Ripken. I played Batman in their Batman/ Joker motorcycle show for awhile! And I sang with NBA legend Michael Jordan at a bar in bethesda years ago when he still ran the Wizards. He sang along (from his seat) Brown Eyed Girl with me while smoking a stogie. Koyote- we probably know some of the same pros in baltimore. I lived not far from there for many years. i came to hawaii to, well, semi-retire and enjoy life more. I'm looking forward to seeing Tia SOMEWHERE this week. Party On! ![]() |

I'm diehard Rip fan. He autographed my "ripman8" license plate the weekend of his last game in Chicago. If I sold my Ripken collection, I could outfit my rig to put anybody's to shame but I won't part with it, I didn't any of it to sell. Id love to run into him in a karaoke bar. |

The absolute most down to earth celeb I've ever met. Very cool guy and great human being. |

Sad but I only went to see him play once at Camden. Seen him at Chicago, Toronto and Cincinnati but just at Camden back in 96. Loved the inner harbor! And the hooters at the mall at the harbor, well let's just say not only were the girls friendly but the best lookin' hooter girls anywhere I've ever been. |

Yup, I go to as many games as possible - love to see those tight, tight baseball pants on those powerful, in shape hard bodies out there swingin' the bats. Makes my heart go pitter patter. |

WOW, this is COOL! It is amazing these celebrities are even willing to loosen up in public, because of all the video cameras that are trying to catch them off guard. It would be pretty hard on them if they had a rough Karaoke night, or maybe Karaoke is off limits, because EVERYONE has a rough Karaoke night every now and then. This must be a GREAT Gig! The closest I come to celebrities is retired sports figures. |

I had Rick Astley last night at my show.... He did not let on who he was for the first 3 hours, but around midnight he had enough beers in him to let on who he was and he sang "never gonna give you up" his trademark song. Not an impostor the real guy. ( looked up some pics of him to verify) He sang 5 songs, (over about 5 hours) New York New York (sinatra) Somebody told me (killers) Lost that loving feeling Highway to Hell (AcDc) Never Gonna Give you Up ** I had to make an exception to the rule for the first person who turns in a slip to a song gets to sing it for the last song. Before everyone knew who he was a regular had turned in the song, I brought him aside and told him he had been pre-empted. Gotta give those one hit wonders thier due. In genereral he was a quite good singer with a wide range of styles as can be seen by his song choices. |
