I've searched hi and low and everywhere in between (maybe not yet), and I cannot find the CD+G of "Don't tell me you're not in love", by George Strait. Can anyone provide a link or site where I can purchase this backing track?? Thanks in advance. Duane |

That would explain why I can't find it. I assume you're absolutely sure about that? Thanks Lonman |

If this is true... got another question. Is there a company out there somewhere that will produce the backing track for you upon your request? Duane |

have you considered just removing vocals? or do you need the "g" as well? if you are just using it for a performance that could work. let me know, i know a couple ways you can do it if that would work for you. |

I do believe there is a couple on here that know of a company that will make a song for karaoke. I can't remember who the company is though. Someone here will remember & post the name. |

I checked on Jeff Daniels' website... he doesn't have that particular track listed, but you could contact him about having a custom track made. Bear in mind that Jeff's tracks are backing tracks only, without graphics and a custom track will probably be around US$65. You can contact Jeff here: http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/contact.php Alternatively, you may be able to find a place that can make a midi track, which may work out cheaper, though not the same quality. |

THANKS FOR POSTING THE LINK TO JEFF DANIEL'S WEB SITE. I clicked on it and found a backing track for a cool Bruce Springsteen song. Track sounded dead on. The guy has a huge selection of tracks but unfortunately for me, not that many Springsteen songs. ;c( |

Lalasingergirl, No... haven't tried vocal removal. I've tried that before but nothing I've done actually does the job without degrading the audio in the track. If you have some pointers, I'll sure give it a try. I don't need the "G". Just want to record straight into Cubase. Murrlyn, Thanks for the link. I'll go check out his site. I assume he does quality work. MIDI's are not for me. I prefer the highest quality, and as close to the original sound track as possible. There's another song I'm looking for too if anyone can help me. It's "If a man ain't thinkin' ('bout his woman), sung by Clay Walker. Think it was originally sung by Jerry Kilgore. Anyone seen this backing track out there. I know, I can pick some hard ones. Thanks for the help! Duane |

Duane, I personally think that Jeff does an excellent job... they certainly are quality backing tracks. I've had a few custom tracks made by Jeff... and they do sound very close to the originals. As Bruce says, they sound "dead on". |

Another one I can't seem to find: "Burnin' Up" - Madonna. Anyone know if it exists? |

Thanks Murryln... I'm getting frustrated on my search. Usually when I only have 1 or 2 options left, of course I go with what I can. Is MIDI all that Jeff makes? I mean, I know some of the MIDI tracks sound pretty good... just lack in quality. I breifly looked at his site. I'm going back and look around once I have more time. I am certainly prepared to pay an outfit for the production of what I'm looking for. Just seems like there would be more available places/people who produce those songs that aren't out there for karaoke. Anyone else know of another company/group that does this, please do share. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again Duane |

As far as I'm aware, Jeff uses real instruments in creating the tracks which results in a better sound than straight out MIDI tracks. There are a number of other backing tracks producers on the web, including Napmusic, Midiking and Ameritz. I have tracks from all of them and they are good, but Jeff's tracks just seem to me to be of higher quality. |
