Hey everyone, just dropping a note to introduce myself. My name's Tony and I'm the owner/operator of Let It Rip Karaoke here in Wisconsin. Just found this forum recently and after reading some of the threads here decided to join up.

I started my business a few years ago after years of going to karaoke shows as a singer and really getting distressed by what I saw the hosts doing. There were the hosts that got drunk and turned into A-holes, there were the boring hosts who just sat there and did nothing but call names, and then there were the hosts who seem to have hearing issues because they just could tell how bad their rigs sounded.

So I took my experience in audio engineering, some radio experience I have and put together what planned to make the most professional looking and sounding karaoke biz in the area.

I'm anxious to get involved in conversation and get to know you folks. Things seem pretty friendly here, not a lot of competitive in-fighting going on as I have seen at other boards. I hope I can learn from you and maybe some of you can gain some info from me as well.

Tony you and I think alike and come from almost similar backgrounds. mine is more in television both commercial ( have been a CE at a smalll tv station) and years of experience in electronics and repair (about 60)

Your experience will be very welcome here. Welcome aboard I do get carried away at times but most here have learned to ignore me ROFL
