I seem to be the last stop for club crawls lately. I also get what's called Train Crawls here. There is a train depot for Metra across the street and about every 3 months or so I'll have a stream of people walk in off the train from a train crawl. One group comes during christmas all wearing santa hats. Does anyone else here have this going on? It's great for business, but they seem to be the most destructive groups. I think it is because they come from a distance and aren't regulars, so they don't have any regard for tearing up the place and since they aren't driving get smashed drunk.

A group of soldiers from the nearby Naval Base rent a bus every few months and get driven down the highway stopping at each bar. They usually hit the Friday show and not ours but what they do is burst through the door en masse, buy one drink (many actually only drink cokes--must be pacing themselves), sing "Family Tradition" en masse and then they are gone. No destruction.

The closest I've had to this is the occasional bachelorette pary. A bunch of women walk in, all but one or two are totally trashed, and they usually bring a party in with them. Normally not a problem and usually a lot of fun.

I gotta admit I didn't know what you meant by club crawls either Babs. It's not something that happens around here.

But groups of cowboys singing "Family Tradition" en masse... that I do know about!

Pub Crawls are almost a weekly event in Halifax but thankfully we play outside of the downtown area so we don't get much action from them, thank God.

I was going to add that, too - they can be destructive. They don't have any stake in the club at all. Hit and run attitude almost. We have had a party bus stop in before - they come in, disrupt everything, some are horrendously drunk, they might have a drink, make a lot of noise ... and then they're gone. Amen.
