Hello all, I am just starting out in the world of Karaoke and I am learning as I go along. All the equipment was left to me by a friend that has passed away. I have a huge collection of tracks, but would like some more current songs. What is the best way for me to get new tracks to add to my list? and how much should it cost?
Happy Karaoking

http://www.pophitsmonthly.com/

There are others but this manufacturer has new music from current hit songs each month in the major genre.

If I don't ask this, someone will. Do you have all the CDGs for you music library you inherited?

Welcome to the forum.

Not trying to make anyone sound foolish, but in simplest terms here. A karaoke CD is called a CD+G. It has the music (CD),,,plus graphics(+G). What ripman is asing is, do you have the original discs? Not burned copies, but the discs that you would find in a store. Most people on here don't like the idea of copied material, (pirating issues and all). But you will find that if you have the originals, you will get tons of help from very knowledgable people.

Hope this clears at least this small topic up.

Ahhh right ok with you now, yes as far as I can tell all the CDs are originals, I know he spent thousands of pounds on it all over many years. I don't actually need to use the cds anymore as it is all on the hard drive, but I want to continue to add to the collection.
And mrscott I like simple terms lol

I second Pop Hits Monthly. Also get Chartbuster collections. You can get complete yearly sets of all categories for the past few years. You can find them at karaokewh.com Other great sites are buykaraokedownloads.com, selectatrack.com, karaoke-singles.com, and sbikaraoke.com You can also find six month packs of Pop Hits Monthly on ebay. There are other sites, but I use these almost exclusively.

Sorry but I will never second anyone on karaokewh. I have an $85 set (2 actually) that won't work and they won't refund me. Getting a lemon is one thing, but bad service after the sale is another.

I've never had trouble with them, and their shipping is amazingly fast. I ordered on a Sunday night and had the order in my hands on Tuesday or Wednesday with normal shipping. If you don't prefer Karaokewh.com, I would suggest Acekaraoke.com

I've done business with Ace. They are ok. I'll look into doowop. KWH can kiss it. If someone wants to buy these two sets I have from them, I'll be happy to provide you with proof that they don't back their service up.

One of the first ones I met on Ebay was Doowop. I have bought many cd's from them. If I ever was within 200 miles of them I would go out of my way to go meet them.

I think I read in another thread that they were Chartbuster, why don't you try getting another set from them telling them what KHW is doing maybe they can help you out.

Since you're from the UK, there are other options.

Mr. Entertainer, Sunfly, Legends, SBIkaraoke, Singtotheworld, and Zoom all put out new stuff. You can also get individual tracks from http://www.proburn-karaoke.co.uk/ which does business with ALL those brands
