It doesn't. This is the outfit that bragged it to me when I was first getting interested in the business and said they get their music from a traveling salesman. They brag they have everything and I've nevere seen them disappoint.

These hard drives with 100k songs are all over CraigsList. They sell for only $300. This guy even offers update support. How come ASCAP was able to find my venue and collect licensing fee's, but they can't go on CraigsList and bust this guy and the others. All they have to do is call the guy and buy one. When they get it, put this guy out of business.

The KJ's with these drives are popping up everywhere. This music doen't make them a good KJ, or give them a following, but it does get them a job they don't deserve.

Because ascap is a publishing enforcment agency, not a copyright enforcement which the hard drive seller is breaking. Ascap could really care less if the music played in a club is copied or not, but more interested that the club or place the music is being played in is paying the fees.
