Here is another story later in the evening. The guy interviewed is one of our Dumas singers.
http://www.king5.com/video/index.html?nvid=366363

Surprisingly it was busier than normal, people were coming in just to see what was up even though half the parking lot & both enterances were crime scene taped off. From 8: PM to 10:PM no one was allowed to leave the bar, but yet they still let people in.
The guy shot in the head is supposedly doing ok last I heard - none of the people involved were regulars at the club BTW.

I'll say it was an interesting night. I'm so glad to hear the shootings weren't in the bar. One can only hope this is a wakeup call for these young men.

Tacoma always makes the news in the worst possible way. Glad it didn't affect your business adversely, Lonman. Makes me glad to live in a quiet little town...although last night, our first night out on the outdoor stage, by 7:30 one of the neighbors had called the police twice for noise...

It started off a little slow, but I ended up with 30 singers by close. The last live report was from King 5 & they wrapped up at 11 when everything was finally getting cleared away.

Wow, close to home. Any updates?

Lonman, you shouldn't call any customers a dumbazz.

A bit of thread jacking here. How far is that from Walla Walla? My goddaughter is attending a college there and I may have a chance to make up that way sometime in next couple of years. I thought if it was drivable distance, I would come to visit.

Walla Walla is on the other side of the state from us coasties. Beautiful, warm area, some of the best wine in the country is coming from that area.

Trust me....if you knew him, lol. It's all good, he is a friend of mine! He only did the interview so he could be on tv, he really wasn't even there when it happened, only from what people told him.

I noticed that too. Don't see many Tauruses with chrome wheels. Even a Lexus isn't worth a few bullets in the back, though.

That stuff can and does happen everywhere. The only thing to remember about gangbangers is if they pull a gun on you, stay right in front of them. I don't think one of them knows how to use a weapon properly, especially the "side" aim. If they could there would have been at least one DOA.

That is a possibility, however the shooting didn't actually happen at the club - but a half a mile up the street, they just drove to the club to call for help, and it was an hour before the show started.

Were the Shot specials cheap that day? And to show some respect no Nirvana, 38 special, Marvin Gaye and half of the Country songs will not be sung.
