Hi Everyone, my husband & I have been doing karaoke as a business for about 6 years. With full-time jobs during the week and karaoke/DJing about every weekend it can certainly wear you out a little! My husband actually proposed to me at karaoke and we've been doing it together ever since. As far as our name goes, my husband's dad's nickname was Lizard (he passed away in '93) and when the business began it was he and his brother leading the karaoke. Hence, Lizards Kin (family) ... we call it Lizardskin. When the brothers moved apart and I married my husband I also bought into the karaoke/DJ business. You can see us on myspace at www.myspace.com/lizardskin07. As a new member, I know this is probably not the correct etiquette, but we are asking our fellow karaoke singers for some help. We're a finalist in a contest sponsored by a radio station and could sure use your votes to help move us from 3rd place to 1st place. The contest leaders reached out to a Christian website to get about 250 votes ahead of us. We would like to reach our to our fellow karaoke'ers who enjoy similar interests with us.
