Many of you may have known that Karaoke-singles.com was one of the sites selling downloadable karaoke, not only that they were also selling Sound Choice tracks. Many of us suspected with less than 100% certainty that it may not be a legit operation because Sound Choice has had past vocal oposition to such activities. This was despite the fact that they were a UK operation and the laws over there are much more relaxed when it comes to singer royalties. Regardless they had a very good selection including many Sunfly, Sound Choice and Zoom tracks, and sold them for 1 british pound a track, a cost that is about the price a legit operation would charge. I visited the site yesterday and it appears that they have pulled all of the Sound Choice from thier listing as well as the Zoom and Sunfly. They still have a few other companies for sale but they tend to be smaller companies. I don't know anything more about the situation. |

guarantee they removed them. SC's new actions are monetary actions more than the sending the cops after you. John at SCBB mentioned it the other day. They're targetting those that can prove they have the discs... and I'm certain that they're going after the illegal sites that are selling SC Downloads, as they have given NO permissions for that! |

No they aren't going after those that can prove they have discs for every computer used. For the sites that are selling the SC tracks without authorization like buykaraokedownloads, yes. |

Hmmm, uh, no, they didn't remove the Sound Choice from their choices. They did however, remove the "SC" and its now blank. |
