Hi all! I'm not a host, just someone who likes to BS his way through songs.
One thing the folks around me at my usual karaoke bar know me for -- I LOVE to mix things up and do all sorts of different songs.
How many 31-year-old heterosexual white men do you know who sing "You Should Hear How She Talks About You" by Melissa Manchester, "Got My Mojo Working" by Muddy Waters, "Holiday" by Green Day and "Flash Light" by P-Funk on the same night? I did that one night recently.
First tried karaoke in 2002 back home in Massachusetts as a lark while out with coworkers. I liked doing it but didn't like the venue much and only went there a few times before giving it up. I tried it about a year and a half ago in my new home, and I liked it better this time around.
