I slid by the Hollywierd Computer Swap Meet, and picked up a few things..

While I was checking out some Karaoke speakers, (Too heavy, too pricey) I spotted a Compaq 2 GHz Presario 3000 laptop, with case..

I ask what the going price is, and the guy says, just get it out of my booth, give me $10.

Well, it didn't take too long to pull $10 out of my wallet..

And, after ten minutes sorting the system out, all is well..

I'm posting from the Compaq now..

Not sure - my sister up in Prince George has a HUGE fire going all the time in the back 40 to send me smoke signals - we've never needed a computer to communicate. (tongue in cheek again)

Funny stuff. Yes, I met my wife on a computer and I have helped her update hers a few time. She did used to live in an igloo.

A few years back, my brother and I flew to Alaska, (IFR flight plan)
"I Follow Roads" and we spent one night in Watson Lake, Yukon Territory..

Strange as it seems, all of the women were a bit on the "Winter Weight" side of things, and they drank like I've never seen before.
(Not a bad thing as it turned out)

the map link is: http://maps.google.com/maps?client=fire ... =en&tab=wl

Much fun in the Territory.. But, no playboy magazines allowed there.. Strange.

I've been through Watson Lake several times, stayed there once (at the Junction with the Cassiar Highway). I assume you visited the Signpost Jungle. Several acres of license plates and other signs left by travelers.

Last time we were there I tried to find karaoke, but they only had it on Friday night. I did find it in Whitehorse the next day, though. 8-)
