Did anyone notice at the Michael Jackson memorial, that all of his family were all wearing dark sunglasses through the whole show?
I wonder why?

I was doing a karaoke gig, and almost all night I was making fun of a guy wearing sun-glasses in the darkened room......I sang.....I wear my sun-glasses at night...to him among other slide remarks......then, when I ran past his table, for a rare bathroom break.......I saw his cane.....

It was most likely to cover the eyes from the redness of crying..

That's true Joyce. Some people, especially celebrities want to keep their emotions kind of concealed at times like that.

It caught my eye also. I assumed they didn't want to be seen with makeup running down their faces from crying. I'm sure they'd hate to be on the front of some rag mag looking like crap. Their lives are so different from ours. They could have a picture of them from the funeral turn up on the front of some paper yrs from now saying they were crying because they were pregnant with an aliens baby.

Johnny, that story made my day! I just watched it this morning and assumed the same thing Babs did. I actually didn't think anything else of it.

When your loved one dies, it is exspected that your going to cry, and look and feel terrible.
This is not a time to hide feelings, or try to be strong. To let your feelings out is what you should do, not hide them.
If a mag tries to make you look bad because your loved one dies, well that's just as low as you can get.
If it was my brother who died, I would cry like a dog, TV or not, and wouldn't give #@%! what people think!
