This is a recent performance, it was actually my very first performance, ive only just got together a band called You, Me and the Cat.
The video is bad quality because it was recorded on my friend's mobile phone haha!

but you can still make out my voice
my friends said that the video doesnt sound as good as it did in reality so :P

Good job! You have a pretty voice. Was this a song that you wrote? What other songs are you planning on singing in your band? :)

haha thanks

no i havent started writing songs yet, that was a song by Keane
(Keane - Is it any wonder)

my best genre to sing is soft rock?
im not really sure on genres

Here's a few songs we might perform in the future:
Kiss me - Sixpence none the richer
Strings that tie to you - Jon Brion
Stay together for the kids - Blink 182
How soon is now - t.A.T.u
Untitled- Simple Plan
Far Away - Nickelback (for my mum and her boyfriend)
Anyone else but you - Moldy Peaches

The band is completely new and there are only 3 members at the moment
Mitchy - the guitarist in the video
Helena - a vocalist who couldnt make it to the performance
Joanne - me, lead vocalist

irrelevant
I have both Mitchy and Helena coming round tomorrow for practice so that should be good, although I'm ill with swine flu at the moment, I just hope it clears up soon!!
(Not too bad just a headache right now - i did have a sore throat and runny nose but that cleared up)

I haven't heard of all of the songs you mentioned but the ones I do know I think you'd sound good on! Good luck with the band and take care of that Swine flu!
