seen your post and saying hi :D Thanks Lordy n Babs, its nice to be missed. I have indeed been busy...Last week I temped at a printers and I have never been so incredibly bored in my life...A week this coming friday I am in hospital for a reconstruction on my left knee...they take a piece of ligament from my hamstring (I think) and graft it into the knee joint. I will be laid up for a while, so no doubt I will be in and out of here when I am fit enough to hobble to the puter. For now I am trying to get as much fitness stuff in as possible...cycling and walking and a thing called a wobble board that is supposed to help when I am back to learning how to use my leg again..supposed to improve the reactions etc.
Anyway enough bout me, hope both of you are well :)

Knee Surgery!! Oh my! My Lovely Lori had a knee replaced last month and the recovery is slow but steadily improving. She has a good doctor. So nice to hear from you, Vicky. I had just not seen your name on here for a bit and was wondering how you were doing. Going to you pics and looking at the photos is not the same as reading your words. I know how boring the printing business is. Worked for a spell in a print shop/bindery. Mind numbing. I much better like what I'm doing now. Hope you get through your surgery in excellent shape. I will say prayers for your doctor and you as well for quick recovery.

Good luck on your recovery. Good thing that the knees have nothing to do with singing. :D

Good luck V. and make sure they operate on the correct body part. some people cant tell left from right or an a$$ from a hole in the ground.

Gregg - How's Lori doin?

Lori's doing well. She goes to therapy twice a week and they make her cry sometimes. She's hanging in there.

Post subject:  Re: Missing someone.

hahah Tex I will be ok so long as they know what a knee looks like...as both of my knees are the same...so if they operated on the right the only prob would be I couldnt drive the automatic car. (we are right hand drives here )
Ben thanks for the good wishes and you are correct it doesnt hinder my singing, it does hinder setting up 30kg speakers though and that is the reason I am getting the operation cos at present I am lifting and carrying 30kg speakers (60+ lbs) on my own and with no anterior cruciate ligaments in either knee, I have had some nasty experiences. Fell in feb when taking my equip to the car after a gig...too many more of those and I would be giving up my music.
Thanks so much for the good wishes folks...Jay, Sharon, Mel, JD, Babs and Lordy, they are much appreciated...hugggs

The poor thing. I know physical therapy can be horrible. Tell her I'm thinking of her and hope things get better soon.

Vicki - I was looking foward to a visit too ! But I understand health is more important. Take care of those 2 left knees. There is plenty of time to visit in the future. In the mean time I'm sending positive thoughts your way. :D
