Hi all, I got some components for home use: mixer/amp, speakers and corded microphones. It was a set made by Peavy. Don't ask me the model number because I don't know (I'm in work). I still need to get a CD+G player. This is for home use so I don't want anything too expensive, but I also don't want a peice of crap. Any suggestions on what I can get and how much it might cost me? What about features? What features are available? Thanks in advance for your help. Paula |

Home use? A single tray will do it. The V2-GO 100runs somewhere near $100 bucks, has all the bells and whistles, including a USB port on the front if you want to try using a stick. It will also play MPE4 files on disc, DVDs, MP3 files on disc, and almost anything else. This unit is built at the Pioneer factory, and is pretty sturdy with a lot of features. I use it as a back-up. Here's a link for specs: http://www.pssl.com/V2Go-GO100-Standard-Karaoke-Player You may see a player from Pioneer called a DV-210K at a great price out there. Stay away from it. Besides being no frills, it only plays Karaoke DVDS, not CDG+G Also stay away from anything from RL Tech. They don't make 'em much worse. |

Have one that I use to use at least 2 times a week for pro shows, and never had a problem. Although I am computerized now, I will never get rid of my JVC player.
