| Post subject: | Karaoke in Garner/Raleigh NC on Friday and/or Saturday night? |
I'm going to be in the Garner/Raleigh area around August 7...just wondering if anyone on the forum does karaoke in this area on Friday or Saturday night? My mom, sisters,and I want to go out together...don't know where to go. Thanks !! |

For Friday, you should try Dangerous Doug's Karaoke at The Brickhouse. It's considered one of the best, if not THE best karaoke show in Raleigh. The Brickhouse is located on Hillsborough St near NCSU. You might also try the Garner Ale House in Garner, also a very popular place. Both have a nice menu if you come hungry. On Saturdays there are several places for karaoke. I've never been to any of them since I run my own show in another town on Saturday. Anyway there's Duffy's Tavern, MVP Sports Bar (very popular), and the Overtime Sports Pub. Do a Google search to get more info. Most of these places have they're own web sites. Hope this helps |

MVP's Sports Bar no longer does karaoke, and actually is temporarily closed right now. (I did the karaoke there for 5 1/2 years.) Now I am at Marcom's Lounge, 5100 Lacy Avenue, Suite 100, Raleigh, on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, 8 pm-2 am each night. (Very nice comfortable place, but it does not serve food.) Come see us! |
