This might be an odd question and there is probably an easy solution, but someone brought in a cdg they wanted me to play through my laptop. I couldn't figure out how to do it and get the lyrics on the screen. Of course, I can get the music, just not the lyrics. I have Sax and Dotty. Any help would be appreciated. thanx

Sanj, it depends on your laptop's drive... if it's capable of reading the lyrics.

There's WINCDG or CDGWIN (can never remember them LOL) for $25 which I THINK has a demo, but I'm not sure.

MTU's Hoster has it capable of ripping the desired track...

Karafun will play off of a disc and it's free. Siglos Professional has the ability to play both MP3+G's and cdg's.

And also if your drive is CDG capable you can simply download and install the cdg disc plugin for winamp (also free) and queue and play through Sax N Dotty.

DL and install the cdg disc plugin from link above and install into Winamp.
Try playing a karaoke (cdg) disc in your cd player. If you don't get a lyrics window your cd drive is not cdg capable, but not to worry, you can always DL Karafun as posted above also, it works with many cd drives that are not cdg capable.
Just will need to use seperatly for disc playing.
