YES..YES...YES..you heard right they are back and planning a new album.." FULL CIRCLE" for more information visit their website . I have been a creed fan since their first album and was hoping someday this would take place...and my wish has come true...so is there any other CREED fans beside me?

Another great Canadian band, homegrown in Hannah Alberta, population of approximately 2800. You either became a drunk or played music if you grew up there. Chad Kroeger (not his real last name, BTW), became both! .
My BF and his then-band toured way back when, when they were all paying their dues and they crossed paths with Nickelback many times. Oftentimes, Nickelback played to empty venues while my hubby's band packed the joints. Look who's famous now. Just goes to show, you never can tell by how they start out....

Granted Im by no means a nickelback fan....but when creed was first together no band could even come close...it remains to be seen if they can pull themselves to the #1 Spot again..do I hope so ..YES..will they...Ill keep my fingers crossed

the album name has be confrimed..Creeds new release " FULL CIRCLE will be out Fall 2009..it will be exciting to see which songs make it to karaoke

Hmmmmm, seems to me that there was a band out called Pearl Jam that Mr. Stapp was constantly being criticized for ripping off their "sound". Don't get me wrong. I like both bands but let's not put the cart before the horse here. I like nickelback also.

But honestly Creed is just a better band...when they get back into the swing see what happens to nickelback

Better than Pearl Jam, nah! Disagree strongly there. But I do love Creed & look forward to the upcoming release.

"CREED" is better as "Alter Bridge", with Myles Kennedy at the vocal helm. He is a much more dynamic singer with a greater range. Scott could take some serious lessons from him. Case in point...Alter Bridge was much successful than Scott Stapp was as a soloist. Just proof the singer isn't the band in most cases.

I would go to see Alter Bridge than Creed. I was just not a fan of the Scott Stapp ego.

Alter Bridge success was a flop and didnt go anywhere....like it or not CREEED was the most rocking band out there..now their back and Im sure they will prove it again

it depends on what you consider a success. Many bands have loyal followings DESPITE commercial success.

To me, I feel Alter Bridge was a better sounding band, but I'm well aware of how fans don't like change. I personally hated when Chris DeGarmo left Queensryche... the band never sounded the same! And I stopped going to see them in concert after the disappointing Q2K and Tribe cds. I think Scott helped define the quality of Creed, but many fans also don't like the whole Ego thing of who's the band. We fell in love with them as a whole, not individual units. Alter Bridge tried to stay true to their true fans. For that, I'll always support them.

Hardly a flop, though.

I wouldn't say they were a flop, they just weren't as popular becuase of lack of promotion. They still had some decent airplay. I still stand by my opinion that Myles Kennedy is a far better vocalist then Stapp. Have you actually LISTENED to Alter Bridge? The music is on par with anything CREED put out, with better vocals, in MY opinion...which I'm entitled to. I never said I didn't like CREED, I just like Alter Bridge better.

Creed is nothing but PEARL JAM Light.
