I plan to sing online and what do you guys recommend for a quality external mic for the PC. It doesn't have to be the best but if I can afford it, I'll get it. Please send a link.

Also, how would you hook it up?

Thanks, much appreciated!
:D

They make some decent PodCast sets. Most PodCast sets will include recording software, a small mixer. a mic, and an external interface. This will produce decent amateur recordings. But, this might be what you are looking for, as a good PodCast set will run you about $100-120. Something like this:

If you want to make it sound better in the future, upgrade to a good, quality condensor mic in the $120-150 range.

These are nice mikes, and the dual pattern option gives 'em some versatility for recording too.

I use the regular version of this one a LOT when I record. It's very flattering to my voice, and makes a killer instrument mic too.
