Sharon called me over the weekend, she was on a trip and kinda last minute we made a karaoke date and met up saturday night. Because we hadn't planned in advance, we didn't have time to contact everyone else and make it a big shindig... but we will next time she comes this way.

I'll share pics when she gets back from her trip.... boy, did me, her, and Odie have a blast!!! And her friend that came with her was really cool as well.

Sharon is gorgeous, talented, funny, and everything I expected she'd be.
(pretty damm hot too) :wink:

My husband, my brother, and my son all loved her:)

Isn't she the sweetest thing ! She's the type of person you meet and swear you've known her forever. I have the feeling Blue it would be the same if I met you. :hug:

She & 'phatrat' came up to my show a few years back. She is definitely a kick. She actually printed out my entire book online & brought it in with her - but being it was a Friday night, they only got in 2 maybe 3 songs if i'm not mistaken.

It was so much fun having a chance to meet Sharon last Saturday night! She is such a delightful, talented and fun person. She fit in so well and made friends with our Denny's crowd. Heck she was like a regular by the end of the evening! LOL A very cool person indeed! :) I hope to see her again and meet others from here someday!

Indeed I had a blast!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I still do not beleive I was in a Denny's.

Charmin and Don are wonderful host and hostess, respectively...It was like hanging out with old friends.

My friends Patty who lives nearby brought me over.

the pics are still in the approval stages. As soon as they are approved, I will post them...

And you know.. All of you are going to have to bite the bullet and come to texas one of these days.... The door is always open and I just happen to have a great KJ who has every song ever done on karaoke who is always willing to come set up for me....

Lonman?? Did you ever get those duplicates out of your book??? LOL.. I studied that thing for months. I have since recycled the book.

Babs.. You can expect to see me and my boss again sometime in early November.... He had a really great time when I brought him out...

I too have met Isis a few years back over in Pflugerville along with Phatrat. Yes, she's definitely a sweetheart and we all had a great time! Phatrat's a cool dude too. Tipping beers and singing songs, I agree, almost seemed like hanging with old friends. I'm glad the two of you are still getting out, being social, and making the rounds. There are a lot of good times to be had in life, if we'll all just reach out and embrace them.

Yeah, I'm not going to bother posting any pics here Sharon, you have to make them so small.... hell, nobody would be able to make them out anyhow. I'll just leave them on my myspace and f/b.

Scott, hopefully next time there will be time to plan. This was literally a last minute thing, and I wasn't able to do any more than call Don on the way there..... I need to get you and Kurt's #'s stored in my cellphone.

It was a ton of fun. Some of it we'll tell, some of it, well... you just had to be there. :brows:

Lon, she mentioned your show and what a blast it was. I told her that unfortunately I hadn't gotten there yet. (but i will....)

And Babs, we talked about you. (scary, huh?) I told her I'd love to go to your show, and she said you were a blast. If I decide to go take my agency training, it will plop into downtown Chicago for a week, so maybe...

Yeah, they are very small.

Yeah, Babs is not far from downtown Chicago. I should know I got lost and ended up in downtown and then then I got found and went to her show...LOL

I'm afraid I'd miss this great Chicago weather. NOT LMAO

Let us know how it goes in Dallas. It will be interesting to hear how karaoke is there.
