I use Goldwave 5.14 to remove vocals. First make a devocalized wave track then reload the original track and make a basspass track set to around 200 or 300 and save it also as a wave. then use audacity to quick mix the 2 wave files and that's about as good as you'll get. Most times it sounds like crap but once in a while you'll end up with a decent track. Don't hold your breath though LOL.
