As someone who likes to sing, I hate to see good melodies and ballads go away, or be completely relegated to country music.

The most intriguing thing is the demands for artists to do faster songs from the radio stations. They want to keep people from switching channels for the advertizing dollars. Could that be the coming trend for karaoke shows? Editing the song books by the tempo of the song using the number of beats. Very interesting.
