I just purchased RoxBox. Can anyone help me set it up when I receive the laptop?

I use RoxBox and I can help with any questions. You can also get the user manual on the RoxBox website. Can be confusing so let me know.

As long as we're talking about Roxbox, how well does it work for making books?

I looked at the demo again recently and it seems better than the last time I looked at it a while back. Is this a recent new version that I demoed?

I'm considering Roxbox because it comes with the ability to generate books so for the price of the hosting program + book generating capability it seems like a good deal. I'm not a big winamp fan so I'm still thinking about it.

Is Roxbox stable?

The bookmaker works great for simple books. If I remember right you can print dual columns.

Roxbox is as stable as the OS because it is based upon Windows. It does take a basic knowledge of Windows. It uses Windows database (Access) and windows search. There is virtually no search delay. If you do get an error you can search Microsofts KDB with the error number and find out exactly whats happening. Roxbox can be configured in display properties for personal preference.

I prefer to install separate Winamps and use my preference of plugins. Although it can be configured in many ways the basic program is easy to teach to non-computer hosts. Since we run a dynamic format that is constantly changing I prefer the two players which I can configure each one for the situation.

I don't use the book maker feature. It is to basic for my taste. I use Song List Generator by Latshaw and I love it.

Does Roxbox show the singers lineup on the monitor, or is that only Compuhost?

Yes under File you can choose the display If you have 3 displays you can put it on 3.

Like the others you can change the background color, font type or size and change the message in the bottom.
