I remember the days when a bunch of us would rush home from work just to get on this site and talk. We once had a thread that was well over 2000 post. We used to laugh and joke and wish we could all get together in one room and sing with one another.

I get so sad when I pop in from time to time to see so many people fighting and arguing.

Please don't read this as pointing a finger at anyone. I don't know a bunch of these people. But I can tell you I have met a lot of people from this site and EVERY single one of them has been amazing and fun.

I often seek out people from this site when I travel so that I can hang out with people that have similar interest and that I "know". It is a great place to do that.

I have that community type feeling about the forum. I suggested once that we all get together one weekend a year to sing too...it sounded great to me. Lately, there has been a lot of bickering :( But I still think it would be fun.

Sharon I am still aiming to come to the states...when I can walk again lol
At this stage if the nz army band are going to edinburgh next year (they have been booked but not yet confirmed) I will be coming to the states. Will keep you informed :D

Vicki.. You know to make a girl all squishy inside...LOL.. You know I can't wait. I am planning on just doing a thing at my house when you come. You are more than welcome to stay here too. We will get all the Oklahoma and Texas people here and DJ Danny has a system now that puts most clubs to shame these days and a song selection that is out of this world too.

Missbipbip.. Nice to meet you.. I'm an now an oldtimer of the site. I love meeting people from here they are soo cool. Looks like you are in NC. I don't get to go to the east coast much. I think the closest I will be is NYC at Christmas this year. Otherwise I am stuck with seeing Babs again in Chicago...LOL.. She is a hoot in person too!!

Hoping I get to go see Eben in the the next couple fo months. Pretty excited about that one too...

I don't want to argue but are you sure?

It's been awile but I remember frays years back with and over a poster named Big Dog.

I've read posts where the words of the poster have been scrambled by the reader and the reader than insists that their interpretation of what the poster said is more accurate then the poster's intrepretation of what was said.

Where and when was this utopia you speak of?

LMAO ....... WTF did you do to my face? When I said photoshop my pics, I didn't mean use the blur tool. Lol (maybe it's better that way tho... )

Yeah, the good ol' days. :( We should just take the damm site back over.

(i even miss bigdog... and that dude that used to call me "Charlotte" when he bytched me out, haha, forgot his name tho)

On the topic of Bigdog, I still chuckle every time I buy new microphones. He sure was proud of his $500+ microphones. :D

Isis--the Goddess of Karaoke (and the kitchen, and of grand parties that go until dawn), we miss your cookin' (among other things - Rich, look the other way. LOL), so let's set something up soon.
