Just read the Sound Choice new realease newsletter. Unbelievable. Are any of these "Pop Hits" being sung or requested anymore?

Probably not. The "Song Request" thread on their forum seems to be pretty much ignored by SC.

Darned shame too since Chartbuster is listening to their customers and continously
producing new discs with the songs KJ's and singers want.

How many KJs feel that we are being ignored by the disc makers with our requests for new songs? While they cater to the home singers market.

Is there a difference? for the most part "home singers" are practicing for when they go to the bar and actually perform. Kind of pointless is the KJ doesn't buy the song.

SC is just plain done.

I just picked up the 2008 and 2009 Karaoke Kurrents sets from SuperCore. No dupes, great quality, great price, and the songs that have been requested by my younger singers.

Life is good.
