Can anyone tell me what is a good quality CD+G player? I'm not looking for top-of-the-line but no low end stuff either. Just looking for a good quality player. |

This one has been answered a lot, maybe that's why it was skipped. If you can find an unused JVC/RSQ/Pioneer multi-tray, then grab it. For single drawere you may like the V2-GO 100, ( made in the Pioneer factory) All the bells and whistles, plus a USB port in front for sticks... Around $100 I also like a "secret" name called performer's Choice, made for Sound Choice. Solidly made, a workhorse. One of mine is 4 years ols, used nightly ( I use two singles rather than multi-drawer) and ZERO problems. The only maintainance is the occasional internal cleaning. Everthing, but a USB port, but built much sturdier than others that I've found- Around $150 Mixonic makes a player that works beautifuly, with all the B&W as well, but not so sturdily built- I'm thinking mostly of cheap switches. I had one that worked well for about a year and a half.- around $80 Run like hell from ANYTHING made under the RLTech label. I had 2 given to me to test in my home shop. The video board on one died almost immediately, and the tray literally fell out of the other in about 2 weeks. Run Forrest Run! If you se an ad for a Pioneer DV-210K that sounds too good to be true- it is. It only plays DVDs- no CD+Gs, and it's fairly crappy even with those. |
