I would like to create a medley of songs from mp3 format, and burn onto a cd.

For example; the bride/groom first dance ....a mix of 5-6 songs using only 1-2 minutes of each song.

I don't know where to look or what to search for. I'm hoping to find something free or inexpensive, since I don't forsee using it very often.

Is anyone using something they can recommend?

Thanks

Thanks karyoker, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I guess the opening post wasn't specific enough. Let me see if I can clarify. I apologize ahead of time if I don't use the appropriate terminology.

I'm looking for a software program.

I have all the songs I need already in my computer, in mp3 format. I would like to mix together portions of 5-6 songs, using only 1 or 2 minutes from each of those 5-6 songs. Then burn that onto a cd which I can play at a later time.

You can use Audacity (freeware) http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Or Mixcraft (not free around $64 although trial version is good for 14 days)

http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/
