Sooooo,,,, Let me get this straight. If you advertise on the KS website you "CAN" use brand names on the forums even though the forum rules forbid it?

I probably won't buy the pop and country releases. I would be interested in the Louis Armstrong if...it had a lot more material on it. When It's Sleepy Time Down South was Armstrong's theme song. He really loved that song, and I don't believe any karaoke company has done it yet. What is up with this huge oversight?! Instead they come out with a disc having the same worn classics that are already in everybody's karaoke book--of course they are great songs, but if they were all he did, he wouldn't be so famous. Aren't karaoke singers ever going to get to sing his other songs? What we really need is for CB to dig up his lounge classics (the ones where Billy Kyle played the piano, for example, in Satchmo A Musical Autobiography), songs like Memories of You, If I Could Be with You (One Hour Tonight), Body and Soul, Them Their Eyes, When Your Smiling, I Surrender Dear, I Can't Give You Anything but Love, Basin Street Blues... I believe Louis also did some collaborative efforts with singers like Bing Crosby, Ella, and Frank Sinatra--some of those might be interesting too. [off soapbox mode]

To underscore how much Louis loved the song When It's Sleepy Time Down South, watch this youtube segment of an older Louis who the manager is trying to convince to sing a different song other than his theme song first. Louis won't go for it and argues against it. The theme song, his favorite song--Sleepy Time--goes first because it's the theme song....and note how much he likes the song when he sings it.

This Louis Armstrong song needs to be on karaoke....

I was actually on the site yesterday and checked it out. I reconized names of the artist for the pop, but that's about it. I'm sure I'd reconize a song or two if I let the wife or kids control the radio. Country is more my thing. I know some of the songs, and artist wise, it shows alot of potential. I could see Zac Brown Band's "Toes" help sell a few of these, along with the A.J. song.

I just ordered a custom cd from them with "Toes" included.
