Does anyone know if the song Motorcycle Mama by Sailcat is on a karaoke version?

Thanks!

ohh wow. haven't heard that one in years. "...we'll see the world from my Harley (if the chain don't break)" If there's any justice in this world, somebody has a karaoke version. Good look in your search.

Yes you got the lyrics right Ronnie - That is an old awesome song! I had a bunch of bikers come in the other night and one of the guys wanted to sing that for his lady. I sure hope I can find a karaoke version of it!

I recall hearing an interview with the band, back then (American Bandstand, I think) when they explained their name. A sailcat is a cat that was flattened by a car. When left to dry out, you can pick em up and sail em like a frisbee! LOL

I found the song you are looking for on i-tunes. You can buy just the music(mp3) for 99 cents and there also seems to be a link on the page to a karaoke CDG disc by K-tel records that you can pick up for only $5.99. It has 10 songs on it. Not a bad deal if they have graphics already done. If you just buy the mp3 of "Motorcycle Mama" you will have to create your own CDG file for the words.

Curiosity got the best of me. I got the song and make a karaoke file out of it and posted my version of the song in the Singers Showcase if you want to hear how it turned out.

Thanks for looking this up for me. Personally I do not know how to make my own CDG file but if you can post the link to the K-tel records that have the CD I can check that out. Thanks again for your response.

All the links that I found seem to be for just the mp3. I can send you the one I made if you PM me with your e-maill addy....that is if you can play it as a Zip File or a CDG combo.
