Shouldn't this have been posted in the lounge? Maybe a mod can move it... BTW I think it's sad also. He blamed his smoking, you know. He was a heavy smoker and studies have shown that smoking is linked to pancreatic cancer. |

Rest in Peace Patrick. Always loved his movies. Whatever I'm doing, I stop if Roadhouse is on. Or Red Dawn. Maybe I try to learn his one big song. |

Yes, tis sad. I have watched Roadhouse a dozen times. Just received (strangely enough) a copy of the Ghost soundtrack yesterday. Eerie! |

I got the news via text monday night at my gig. One of my lady singers and I did "Time of my life" in tribute. Not so sure it went as planned.... It had been a while since I heard it. |

I had a singer perform "She's Like The Wind" and "Angel Eyes" lastnite. it created a room buzz as most people either didn't know that he had passed and some didn't know who HE was. Dirty What? The Beast? To Wong Foo?? RoadHouse was a guilty pleasure to me as well. Swaze as the cooler. Dates Hot Blonde doctor. kicks major butt. |

You can add sweet looking butt to that list for me! I swear I rewound that part I don't know how many times. Getting hot flashes just thinking of it! |

"Point Break" for me. It inspired me to take skydiving lessons which then lead to flying planes. That movie has many parallels in my own life, it's amazing. |

I loved that movie ! When I came out of it I wanted to be a super hero. It really charged me up. |
