HI All,

Anybody have experience with this product? Cheaper version of DRPA w/o the Comp?

Thanks

If you want a DRPA alternative, the Behringer product is their DCX2496. It's about $299 MAP if I remember correctly. I own one DCX2496 and two DRPAs. I like the DCX better and will eventually replace the DRPAs with DCXs.

cool! Thanks. The reason i was asking about the ultra-curve was because somebody selling it here in SG, 2nd hand at SG$200 (approx US$150). I'll check around ofr the price of DCX2496. Thanks again :)

hi,

I've checked out the DCX in the web and find that it's probably the other half of the DRPA not found in the DSP8024. The thing is I'm more interested in the Auto-EQ (RTA) and the AFS function fo the DRPA cause I currently only use a pair for the FOH. Was keen to get a faster way to EQ for my events as the venues I normally get are really not PA friendly.

Any advise on the DSP8024 or is there any similar product that does the same thing?

Thanks :D

The DEQ2496 is their current product with an RTA mic option, but it does not include the crossover, etc. functionality of the DCX. If you want both feature sets, a DRPA+ is probably the least expensive option.
