Well we can see that most of the KJS on the forum are older than I would have expected. What is the middle of the age range of the singers at your main shows? For me it probably is about 30. With singers over 45 rare, about half in their 20s. |

I would estimate that most of our singers are around the 30 mark, but leaning heavier in their 20's & fewer over 40. Which oddly enough, MOST of the 20 year olds that come out with me sing & REQUEST stuff from the 80's & 90's & not so much anything from today (the last 5 years). I currently subscribe to Chartbusters monthly releases - mainly so I have something new to offer each month when I can't get to actual requested songs from the singers, but it's rare that any of the newer stuff ever gets touched. Kings Of Leon & Lady Gaga are two of the artists that get used more often than anything else that is actually 'new'. |

It depends on the night. I have all ages lately, sometimes it is dominated by 40 -50s and sometimes 20-30s. I never know, so I didn't answer. |

That's the way it is at my shows too, but I'm guessing 36 to 40 as an average. This is just a small neighborhood bar, and I frequently get two and sometimes three genertations of the same family that will come in together to sing. I know I have 21 year olds and at least two in there their late seventys that come in on a regular basis. |

For my Mon. night show the ages shift as the night progresses. When I start at 8 most of my singers are 40+. The younger groups start filtering in about 10 to 10:30 and by last call at 1:30 most everyone is 35 and under. |

I probably should have put 41-50, but we have a bizarre crowd. Quite a few in the 50s, a couple in their 60s and 70s, and quite a few in their 20s. I put 36-40 to try and capture the "middle". But we have very few in that range itself. |

My first show averages about 26-30 overall but with a couple of 21 year olds at the start before they contimue to barhop and go somewhere else where drinks are cheaper. The other show averages about 48 for the ladies. |

Both of my shows have people from 30 to 80, with the majority above 50. I would guess 51-60 average age. Not a screamer amongst them, but quite a few sleepers. I love our groups, and I average about 25-30 singers. Mrmarog |
