Post subject:  Hi, I'm a Newbie
Hi everyone,

I've been lurking here for about 6 months and have gained some valuable knowledge about becoming a KJ. I am to the point where I could have some questions and possibly provide some answers or comments to other's questions so I decided to leap in.

I am based in Minnesota and have had a Thursday night gig at the local watering hole since June. I've got a computerized system and am running Compuhost. My equipment includes a Mackie 1200vlz mixing board, Behringer B215A powered speakers, Shure PGX/SM58 wireless mics, dbx 266XL compressor and a Behringer Virtualizer Pro for effects.

I also play harmonica in a rock/blues band for fun mostly since we don't have many gigs or make much money when we do have them. I've been in one band or another for the last 22 years.

Thank you for the information so far. I'm sure I'll gain much more knowledge as time goes on.
