Post subject: | Want a home karaoke machine but has some stipulations |
I have a Chinese wife who is pretty big into karaoke and singing. Unfortunately her only outlets have been singing in the shower and the songs in Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. Since she came over here in 2005, about 95% of the songs I have available are unknown to her and she's not big on learning past rock songs (although I have been trying to feed her a steady diet of The Beatles in order to get her to come around to that.) In any case, I've decided that for our anniversary I'd get her a real karaoke solution. The problem is that I have some specific requirements for the machine that I'd get. 1. Needs to have an existing library (or is compatible with CD/DVD additions) of Chinese songs with Simplified symbols. 2. Needs to allow for DLC, or new songs that could be added to it either via burned CD-G or directly to it. From the research that I did, it looked like the best solution would be to get a SongStation Karaoke Machine, but those are sold out and it appears as though the store isn't exactly a BBB member from some of the testimonials I read. I was also looking at the TheKaraokeChannel.com for getting new songs, but it doesn't look like those are the most compatible songs in terms of adding to karaoke devices. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA. Edit: What about something like this?: http://www.acekaraoke.com/iview-2000k-midi-dvd-cdg-professional-karaoke-player.html |
