It's nice to see the big crowds again. Of course my Wednesday before Thanksgiving was packed. I stayed 2 extra hours at my gig. But what I wasn't expecting is my Friday night was even busier. I worked until the bar closed at 3am. I can only assume tonight won't be as busy, but who knows I seem to be on a roll. I have a lot of people that are coming home for the holidays and coming in with their families for karaoke, so I'm hoping all of December will be hopping too. Woo Hoo for the Holidays ! |

@ the bars in my area, the nite b4 thanksgiving, and thanksgiving Saturday are one of the busiest every year. Just behind New Years Eve. Guess ppl go out to get a buzz on b4 going to the relatives, or have to get a good drunk on after dealing with all the relatives.... |

The night before Thanksgiving, I had over 500 people through the door. It was insane! Here are a few pics. |

Both Friday and Saturday night for me at my one venue was packed from the beginning. It's a small place, will only seat about 75. But both nights I start @ 7 (for families or kids to sing). It's actually 2 business', a bar and a restaurant. I work for the bar and set up in the restaurant. Right out of the gate I had a full rotation, and by 8 oclock the rotation got to over 20 on Friday and 28 on Saturday. Everyone stayed til closing at 1, (except the kids of course) Great time! Everybody was having fun and didn't want it to end. Yep, gotta love the holidays. |

Hopefully, this is a good time for starting a new bar. It's a bar/restaurant situation as well. The first show will start at 8pm while the rest of the time it will start at 9pm. |
